The visit itinerary takes place within the seaside park of the Villa Favorita in Herculaneum. The children are involved in ludo-didactic activities and in a mini laboratory dedicated to the mosaic technique made using recycled materials. The activity can be carried out in small work groups followed by our collaborators.

The activities contained in this laboratory have as their theme the Villa intended as a place of leisure and delight with the reconstruction of scenes of daily life suggested by the cycle of frescoes that decorate the rooms of the noble floor. The tour ends in the Salone delle Feste where the little guests are transformed into ladies and knights to participate in the ball organized by the Prince of Campolieto. The visit to the Villa is introduced by the projection of a stereoscopic 3D video dedicated to “The Golden Mile”, which evocatively describes the birth and evolution of the Golden Mile and the Vesuvian Villas of the 18th century.
HUNTING IN THE VILLA

* For the 11-14 age group, the themes of treasure hunt will focus on thematic paths that support the interests and didactic paths that are addressed in the curriculum of the historical-literary disciplines studied in the classroom without renouncing the playful elements that accompany the path to discover the monumental complex of the Golden Mile.
+ infoThe formula is that of a treasure hunt related to the ancient game of the goose where each tile is useful for the historical story of the places and characters who lived in them.
The themes of the game-competition are historical, literary, naturalistic ones modulated by means of a game that enhances the educational function of the story “in motion” capable of involving and animating emotions.

For high school classes we offer thematic itineraries focused on the History of the Golden Mile and its evolution by addressing the reading of the cycle of frescoes that decorate the rooms of the noble floor of Villa Campolieto and the eighteenth-century architecture of the Park on the sea of the Villa Favorita in Herculaneum with the Casina dei Mosaici.

Playful-didactic laboratory that proposes team play and the search for a treasure that children will have to find in the rooms of the house where every trace is an excuse to reconstruct and tell stories and legends of the villa. We will work with two classes at a time for a maximum of 50 children.
THE CITRUS FEAST

The party will be dedicated to the harvest of our citrus fruits and then have a snack together with healthy and tasty juices to emphasize the importance of a diet that respects the time of the earth. We will work with two classes at a time for a maximum of 50 children.

An articulated workshop in the Villa delle Ginestre with stories, readings and images that reconstruct the historical atmosphere in which this house on the slopes of Vesuvius was immersed, evoking the charm of a poetic place, rich in beauty and identity. At the end of the visit i, with the lyricist compiled together, the children will leave their mark with the writing of a thought on the lived experience.

Educational workshop dedicated to work in the vegetable garden. Children try their hand at the earth by getting their hands dirty and rediscovering the beauty of taking care of the plants that will be identified, planted, watered or simply observed.
SENSINAZIONE

On the sides of our educational garden and in the space of the historic kitchen of the villa, children will be offered a sensory journey to read the reality that surrounds them through the five senses. The workshop will take place in the winter months in the kitchen and in the spring in the garden. You will work with one class at a time for a maximum of 25 children, experimenting with colors, smells and much more.
DECEMBER, THE COLORS OF CHRISTMAS

The workshop will be dedicated to the nativity scene and Christmas decorations through the symbolic language of shapes and colors. Children will be guided in the artisanal creation of the nativity scene through the use of natural and recycled materials, combining work and tradition.
THE MARCHESA PASTRIES

The workshop, dedicated to the dough and the making of pastries that the hostess used to prepare to welcome her guests, will take place in the historic kitchen of the villa which, in celebration, will welcome the little pastry chefs in action.
